Dr. Abby Wagner grew up on a ranch in the Coachella Valley, where her love for animals and interest in medicine first took root. She gained hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant and technician throughout her undergraduate studies and veterinary school summers, working alongside dedicated and passionate professionals who helped further inspire her commitment to veterinary medicine.

While earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Computational Science from Point Loma Nazarene University, she also spent three summers analyzing Costa Rican animal activity patterns and behavior. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University, where she developed special interests in dentistry and ophthalmology. Dr. Wagner is grateful for the opportunity to partner with pet parents in creating care plans tailored to each pet’s individual needs.

Her furry family includes two beloved dogs, Fluffy and Miley. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys basketball, hiking, and reading.
